SALES SUPERVISOR – Fine Pharmaceuticals

 

Job Purpose:

To ensure consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets by identifying opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business for Fine Pharma. Managing a team of well trained and motivated sales representatives through regular in-field training, clear communication and constructive feedback mechanisms.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

• Achievement of sales, market share and growth objectives for the portfolio/team under your management through execution of agreed strategies and Fine Pharma strategic plan.
• In field coaching and mentoring of sales personnel to improve overall team skills and behaviours.
• Responsible for personnel management, monitoring and evaluating the performance of sales personnel under you including the recruitment, training, coaching, development, and corrective counselling.
• Maintain required team call rate/coverage targets through monitoring of SFE systems
• Maintain key opinion leader contact within the team for each reps key customers
• Compile and update a Sales Operating Plan after each quarterly review with detailed analysis and feedback to the leadership team.
• Monitoring sales activities in-line with targets
• Submission of required reports within set deadlines

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Proficiency in Business English (written & spoken)

Qualifications & Experience needed:

• A tertiary qualification in Life Sciences, Sales, Marketing or Business
• Strong sales track record and evidence of delivering on targets consistently
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices/FMCG industry is an advantage
• Valid driver’s license
