The incumbent will create a bridge between IT development and IT operations by applying a software engineering mind-set to system administration with a focus on operations/on-call duties and developing systems and software that help increase site reliability and performance. This will include but not limited to building self-service tools for users in collaboration with product developers to ensure that the designed solution responds to non-functional requirements such as availability, performance, security, and maintainability.
