SOCIAL & HEALTH PROGRAMS OFFICER – Botswana YWCA

 

Botswana YWCA requires the services of a Social & Health Programs Officer to start work immediately;

The key responsibilities Include:

• Planning, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Coordination and Management of Social and Health Programs
• Provision of psychosocial support to clients
• Outreach programs and out of school youth Initiatives
• Facilitation of PACT and Teen Mother programs
• Providing Life Skills Development to clients
• Maintaining accurate records and preparation of reports
• Participating in training, supervision and team meetings

Competencies:

The successful candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills, proposal writing skills, team spirit, result-oriented and Initiative for community development.

Minimum Qualification:

Degree in Social Work/Public Health/Counselling and two years’ work experience, preferably within the nonprofit making sector.
