STAKEHOLDER AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Reporting to the Principal Officer, the Stakeholder & Business Development Manager position exists to plan, direct, control and lead the Fund’s overall strategy and general business to achieve competitiveness in the market place. You will assist the Principal Officer to direct the business of the Fund by formulating policies, business strategies, business plans as well as developing local and regional markets for the Fund. You will also develop and implement stakeholder relations and coordinate member education programmes.

Experience:
Minimum of ten (10) years post professional qualification experience in a business environment, of which 5 years are practical management experience in strategic marketing and public relations and atleast 3 years should have been at senior management level.
Required Knowledge
- Knowledge and understanding of strategy development and implementation processes.
- Knowledgeable on product development
- Thorough knowledge of the NRFIRA Act.
- Thorough understanding of the Botswana business environment.
- In depth understanding of medical insurance.

Key Performance Areas
- Develop, review and implement strategies for achieving sales targets.
- Identify new markets locally and regionally.
- Oversee implementation of sales promotion programs.
- Design and implementation of business development strategy.
- Formulate business targets in areas of market share, membership/ business growth, i.e. business retention and attraction.
- Evaluate existing products in line with Competition threats, members’ needs, mission and vision and develop new products as determined by members and market needs.
- Audit system implementation of Fund benefits, in line with Rules and set limits.
- Create an integrated and comprehensive business that services our members and places Pula Medical Aid Fund as the industry leader.
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement and external communications strategies.
- Member retention supported by excellent stakeholder relationship management, member engagement and fast & efficient query resolution.
Position Requirements
Education
University Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Administration or equivalent.
Professional
Relevant professional membership will be an added advantage.
