STORE CLERK – Louwill Lefa

Louwill Lefa will shortly be commencing with the fabrication and erection of the Karowe Diamond Mine headgear, as a sub-contractor to UMS Botswana (Pty) Ltd, who are busy with shaft sinking and underground construction for Lucara Botswana (Pty) Ltd at Letlhakane in the Boteti sub-district. Shaft sinking and underground construction, as well as the erection of shaft headgear, are highly specialised activities and an expert understanding of sinking methodologies, underground construction, mine health and safety as well as contract management knowledge is essential. We are currently searching for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to be considered for the following positions in Letlhakane. Please note that all positions are project based and that all applicants for the technical position must have been trained in working at heights and the use of portable electric equipment:

 

STORE CLERK

Job Summary

A Storeman will clean the stores, keep record of all inventory and order replacements as required by the construction crews.

To be successful as a Store Clerk you must have the energy to be on your feet for most of the day while maintaining a positive attitude. Keep record of all items and equipment that was issued to fellow employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pack store items onto shelves.
• Clean the store.
• Keep track of inventory.
• Assist follow employees when asked.
• Receive deliveries and update inventory.
• Assist office staff when required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum grade 12
• 5 years’experience of store keeping
• Knowledge of construction tools
• Order consumables
