As a store Manager for J B Sports you will use your people & business skills to create a retail environment
that inspires both employees and customers alike.Through your enthusiastic approach,
and commitment to excellence you will drive and influencethe sales performance of your store,
deliver superior customer experience, and managing a well trained and motivated team.
You will play a key role in the coordination, engagement and overall duty management of your store.
Ensuring that the J B Sports brand image and retail concept is relentlessly implemented and presented.
Its essential that you forge professionally aligned and progressive relationships with each of the concepts within your store,
ensuring that the J B Sports customer has a delightful experience everytime.
Key Responsibilities
- To act as an ambassador for J B Sports . effectively managing the day-to-day operation within the store utilizing business practices and relationships with the other
- Responsible for the overall success, driving sales, reinforcing operational consistency, and staff development, as well as overall service and brand Integrity for the store
- Be a role model for strong product knowledge of the J B sports product line, as well as selling and customer service standards
- To manage the day to day operational of your store, i.e J B Sports staff requirements and cashiers deployment, security guard deployment, finance and cash management and well maintained property
- Full implementation of the J.B Sports store operating procedures
- Manage, supervise and coach the J B Sports team to ensure the highest level of competency and capability within your resource framework.
- To ensure the highest level of customer service is consistently given, aligned with the J B Sports customer jouney experience. To ensure every customer leaves your store delighted.
- Maintain daily store floor walks with your staff constantly challenging inconsistencies in retail standards and customer offering.
- Full administrative responsibility for your store ensuring that all store and business compliance processes are in place.
- Ensuring consistency in the cleanniness housing keeping and visual merchandising standards of your store in line with J B Sports visual and brand guidelines.
- Management & maintenance of key internal & external relationships to drive the success of the store
- Drive membership of RCS Credit & manage data entry requirements
- Coordination and sharing of best practice for loss prevention across the brands within your store.
Qualifications and Technical Skills
- BGCSE or equivalent as a minimum qualification.
- Proven successful minimum 2 years experience as a retail manager.
- Great leadership skills and business orientation.
- Customer management skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
