Strategic Breakthrough International (SBI) is poised to become Botswana’s No.1 research-led producers of high quality and innovative business conferences and events not only for the Botswana market but also for the SADC region. SBI is looking for self motivated, results-oriented and high performing individuals to start work at the beginning of the new year in order to help the company achieve its goal of producing and hosting a total of 42 business conferences and events in the year 2019/2020. SBI, a member of Strategic Consult, seeks to work with the top talent and the best minds. 1.BUSINESS CONSULTANTS (Re-Advertised)– aged at least 35 with a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Accounting & Finance/Economics & Accounting and working experience in preparing business plans, business proposals, financial projections, financial statements, training materials and presentations. Candidates should either be a member of BICA or should be in a position to apply for BICA membership as soon as he/she is successful in our recruitment process. The candidate, with the ability to lead a team of about six people, will also be responsible, inter alia, with the tasks of business development and will be required to work on obtaining new clients, closing sales, increasing business profits and finding new business opportunities for the company.
2.BUSINESS CONSULTANT INTERNS – aged at least 25 with at least a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance with or without working experience is required to undertake the work of preparing business plans, youth/gender business plans, land board Management plans, company profile, business proposals, training manuals including financial projections and financial statements. Candidates should either be a member of BICA or should be in a position to apply for BICA membership as soon as he/she is successful in our recruitment process
3. SECRETARY INTERN (Re-Advertised) -We are looking for a highly-motivated and results oriented secretary intern to perform general secretarial duties as well as receptionist functions. The person, holding at least a BGCSE and a Diploma in Secretarial Studies, has to act like a personal assistant to the CEO and provide administrative support to the entire organisation. Candidates should have excellent customer service skills, communication skills and exceptional typing and computer skills and should be able type documents without errors/mistakes and manage an effective filing system.
4. SALES & MARKETING EXECUTIVE (Re-Advertised)-Equipped with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management or Events Management the candidate should be able to successfully and effectively promote, market and execute 40+ business conferences and events per year in Gaborone, the whole Botswana and the entire SADC. Our portfolio of 40+ business events per year are but not limited to conferences, seminars, symposia, forums, conventions and summits. The effective marketing of our business events will be achieved by conducting prospecting sales visits (cold calling), responding to client inquiries, email marketing, social media marketing, attending networking functions plus other creative marketing approaches. At least one year experience in marketing of seminars, workshops and other products and services is a must for the successful candidate.
5. GRAPHIC DESIGNER INTERN– with a minimum of an Associate Degree in Multimedia/Graphic Design, he/she will be responsible for the creation and production of graphic, marketing, branding and communication materials to support our clients’ branding strategies for print and digital communications through creative and effective design as well as the development and management of websites for clients. The candidate should be ready and willing to take on the additional role of marketing and promoting the company’s creative work and graphic work-based services such as company profiles, flyers, brochures and CVs.
6. SALES & MARKETING AGENTS (Gaborone; Francistown; Maun; Palapye, Kasane & Ghanzi) – with at least a Diploma in Sales and Marketing are wanted to market our accounting, bookkeeping, taxation and customer service conferences and other business conferences as well as our other business consulting and company secretarial services to a diverse target market and wide marketplace through cold calling and aggressive marketing strategies. This position does not offer a basic salary but offer attractive & high sales commissions for high performing individuals that can range from P5,000 to P20,000.
