Maintenance planning effectiveness – development of sectional maintenance procedures, maintenance schedules, standards, assessment of operational performance, statutory inspections coordination
Operations effectiveness – trends analysis, equipment criticality classification exercises, inventory control, decommissioning and disposal standards
Computerized maintenance system development and implementation
Staff training and development

Qualifications and Experience
National Diploma in Instrumentation, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering or National Craft Certificate or equivalent qualification
Seven years post qualification experience preferably in a mining environment. Three of these should be in a supervisory or similar position
X-ray machines experience desirable
A valid driver’s license
