Overview of role

To accurately update the member database, process claims and administer pensioner payroll and Trust.

Job description

  • Timely update member data base to ensure accurate member records
  • Upload declared, and interim interest rates into the database to update member benefits and process add-ons, where applicable
  • Prepare contribution refunds for payment to members who have contributed erroneously, effect member transfers in/out
  • Calculate member benefit and submit tax directives for clearance, prepare accurate benefit payments
  • Liaise with Government Ministries and Departments, guardians, minor dependants and members to request information and provide feedback
  • Reconcile pensioner payroll and make relevant deductions for pension members for accurate payments
  • Prepare and issue pensioner payslips, tax certificates (ITW8), Certificates of Existence annually and annual member statements to communicate and update members
  • Prepare Deeds of Settlement for minor dependants and submit to the Trust to open minor dependents’ accounts

Requirements, Education and Experience

  • Diploma in Business Administration or related field
  • 3 years’ post qualification experience
  • Valid Botswana light duty driver’s license
