Main Purpose

To manage operations to ensure a well maintained, safe, hygienic and secure warehouse environment, and facilitate minimal loss and shrinkage through logistic support and enforcement of policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide input into the business operating plan
  • Implement and maintain health and safety procedures in line with Woolworths policy
  • Manage the security operations in the warehouse to minimize loss

  • Manage the warehouse and equipment maintenance processes to ensure availability, functionality and safety
  • Manage contractors and service level agreements for the warehouse
  • Manage cleaning and hygiene operations to ensure a hygienic warehouse environment
  • Manage and implement loss and control measures
  • Manage end-to-end logistic processes and the stock information management system
  • Manage operations budget and expenses
  • Develop, recruit, retain and lead store operations team
  • Conduct performance and development discussions with the team

Key Competencies

  • Qualifications and Technical knowledge and Skills
  • Diploma in System Administration
  • Diploma in Networking Technology course
  • 10 years management experience in logistics or loss control
  • Computer Literacy
  • Technical Aptitude
  • Safety and Security Awareness


  • Be available and flexible to work different shifts and across the store
