PART-TIME MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTIST/TECHNICIAN (HISTOLOGY/CYTOLOGY& HAEMOTOLOGY/IMMUNOHAEMATOLOGY)

Duties: The successful applicant will be expected to (i) To prepare equipment and reagents for laboratory graduate and undergraduate classes, (ii) ensure that the laboratory equipment is in working order, (iii) manage laboratory practicals, (iv) demonstrate the correct use of equipment to students during laboratory sessions, (v) demonstrate clinical laboratory techniques, (vi) maintain inventory of stocks and equipment loans issued from assigned laboratory, (vii) assist with procurement of laboratory supplies. (viii) Performs any other related duties assigned by the Head of Department/Lecturer.
Requirements: Applicants must have (i) a Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences. (ii)Experience working in a clinical laboratory. (iii) Registered with Botswana Health Professions Council as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician. (iv) Good technical and communication skills.
