Reporting to the Operations Director Main purpose of the Job
- Manage a community (retail) pharmacy in line with regulatory requirements, pharmacy practice standards, good pharmacy and good distribution practices
- Take professional responsibility of the pharmacy as per the laws of Botswana.
- Provide drug information services to other health care givers and the public.
- Develop and implement processes to ensure regulatory compliance and licensing of the pharmacy
Qualifications
- Valid registration with Botswana Health Professions Council.
- Valid private practice license or (eligibility for a private practice license)
- At least a bachelors’ degree in pharmacy
Experience
- At least three years post internship in retail pharmacy
- One year of the above should be practising pharmacy in Botswana
- Familiarity with laws and ethical standards governing the pharmacy practice in Botswana is an added advantage.
