Kgaswe International School, in Palapye, requires teachers to fill in Pre-Primary, Junior & Senior Primary positions and High school positions.

 

The school is a well established independent, co-educational primary and secondary school for pupils situated in central Botswana. The school is a member of the Conference of Heads of Private Schools.

 

Pre- Primary Teacher

Qualification & Experience

v  Diploma in Education and above (Early Childhood)

v  A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework.

v  5 years experience teaching in a recognised English medium school.

v  A good level of computer literacy

v  At least knowledge of First Aid basic certificate

v  Fluent in English

 

Primary School Teachers

Qualification & Experience

v  All candidates require recognised Diplomas in Education, Four year Masters, or Degrees, in Education will be added as an advantage, and at least 5 years experience teaching in a recognised English medium school.

v  All candidates applying for the Primary School posts must have at least knowledge of Primary Cambridge Checkpoint.

v  A good level of computer literacy & Fluent in English

 

High School Teachers

Qualification & Experience

v  All candidates applying for the high school posts must at least have Master’s Degree in Education and above.

v  All candidates applying for the high school posts must be able to teach Form 1 classes up to the As & A Level classes.

v  All candidates must have knowledge of the IGCSE syllabus and the ability to teach two (2) or more subjects for High School posts, Fluency in English and other foreign languages will be a highly added advantage.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE APPOINTMENT

> An initial, 2 year or 3-year renewable contract offers a competitive and benefits package, which is commensurate with the responsibilities of the position. The package will include provision for the school‘s contribution to a pension and or gratuity and medical aid scheme.

> A contract will be agreed with the preferred candidate

> The date for taking up the appointment is 1^st March 2018
