In this role, you will plan and coordinate social activities and initiatives in compliance with regulatory framework and guidelines of the projects. You will provide advice and guidance in relation to; Environmental and Social Impact Assessments, Resettlement and Compensation Action Plans or Social Audits, and Vulnerable Community Plans.
You will possess a degree in Social Sciences, Sociology, Community Development, Anthropology or a related field. You will have 5 years’ experience in social safeguards and community development or similar environment. Understanding of Botswana’s social and land legislation, community development, compensation and social management systems, including cultural and physical heritage is required.
