SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR- LEAD

Overview
Orange invites candidates who wish to be part of a dynamic workforce to apply for the above position.

Reporting to the IT and Security Manager, the successful candidate will be expected to provide uninterrupted expertise in IT Services and support to the entire organisation.

The main duties include but are not limited to:
To fine tune/update security use cases, alerts, technology rules signature and indicators.
To offer support on parser tuning and maintenance for Information security threats.
Develop tools for the protection, integrity and confidentiality of data.
Ensure First and second level Support for Microsoft applications.
Ensure the maintenance and support servers and workstations.
Ensure the maintenance and support of storage area network.
Provide support for VMware, Citrix & other business applications.
Provide the technical administration of the event correlation and reporting tools.
Translate rules from the Threat Intel Analyst into configuration requirements and develop the necessary correlation and reporting capabilities.

Automate incident detection, compliance and vulnerability monitoring and reduce false positives.
Ensure that the output and performance of the SIEM products used meet or exceed the requirements.
Troubleshoot malfunctioning application or device problems.
Expert guidance and directions for improving the performance and value of the Security Operations Centre.
Provide 2nd & 3rd level support to desktop users and training to effectively carry out day to day duties.
Install and configure hardware and software for hosting business and clients applications.
Setup remote connectivity for external and internal clients including internet access.
Support and maintain all IT & Security infrastructure equipment.
Ensure provisioning storage required by different departments.
Implement backup process and procedures for all IT systems including the IT BCP implementation.
Manage teams through motivation and encouraging synergy between the various actors.
Strengthens the operating systems and corporate websites.

Participate in safety audits (specification, implementation and monitoring of action plans).
Participates in risk analysis and expression of security needs on projects (RFP).
Valid applications for openings flow and connection needs in Orange network.
Contributes to the updating of the security framework, drafting safety rules.
Participates in the resolution of security incidents.
Ensures the update of OS, databases and development platforms, by monitoring and ensures an effective patch management.
Evaluates vulnerability level of websites and proposes solutions to protect them.

Skills:
Microsoft products skills, Unix/Linux skills, VMware and SAN.
Good knowledge of Networking.
Good leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work nights or weekends as needed.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor of Sciences in Computer Studies/Information Systems.
5 years of experience in IT.
