Main purpose of the job
Responsible for providing and delivering a safe and developmental^ appropriate early childhood development program in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
Qualifications:
Degree in Early Childhood Development or related area Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of related work experience with at least 2 years spent at the level of Child Development Center Teacher or equivalent
Compotencies/Skills
- Ability to teach
- Proven ability to work effectively and professionally with children, families, and adult staff
- Demonstrated skills in effective communication, both written and verbal.
- First Aid and CPR is essential
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work safely in an environment containing biological conditions which may be unhealthful or hazardous (such as bodily fluids and waste, germs, childhood diseases)
