Khoemacau Mine is an operating copper-silver mining project located in northwestern Botswana, near the town of Tsabong. It is one of Botswana’s largest new mining developments and the first major copper-silver operation in the country. The mine is situated within the Kalahari Copper Belt, a geologically prospective region spanning Botswana and Namibia, with all active infrastructure and production activities based in Botswana. Owned and operated by Khoemacau Copper Mining (Pty) Ltd — a Botswana-incorporated company majority-owned by Cupric Canyon Capital — it achieved first copper concentrate production in late 2023.
