Job Purpose
​​​Performs supervisory duties in the implementation and management of fleet operations and also performs technical work in the vehicles and equipment mechanics as needed.

Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Safety, Health and Environment
Delivers own prescribed outcomes and/or provides support services by using the organization’s safety, health and environment systems and protocols.
Procurement
Performs prescribed procurement activities using existing procedures to support others.
Operating Machine or Equipment
Operates complex processes, adjust diverse variables to achieve the best possible quality/productivity outcomes and generates solutions to simple/recurring inefficiencies.
Logistics / Arrangements
Schedules main.

 

Improvement / Innovation
Identifies shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures, then uses established change management programs to deliver prescribed outcomes and/or provide support services.
Compliance
Highlights shortcomings and suggests improvements in current compliance processes, systems and procedures within assigned unit and/or discipline.

Performs routine supply chain tasks by following established procedures to support others.

Qualifications

​A recognised Diploma in Transport Logistics or Equivalent.
