Data Protection Agreement (DPA) – For Employers

This Data Protection Agreement applies to employers using Jobs Botswana for recruitment purposes.

1. Purpose

This agreement governs how employer partners process job seeker personal data obtained from Jobs Botswana.

2. Employer Responsibilities

Employers agree to:

  • Use applicant data strictly for recruitment

  • Maintain confidentiality

  • Not sell or share applicant data

  • Secure applicant information

  • Comply with all applicable data protection laws

3. Applicant Rights

Employers must respect applicant rights including:

  • Right to privacy

  • Right to access

  • Right to deletion

  • Right to correction

4. Data Breach

Employers must immediately notify Jobs Botswana of:

  • Unauthorized access

  • Data leaks

  • Security breaches

5. Termination of Access

Jobs Botswana may immediately revoke employer access for violations.

6. Indemnity

Employers agree to indemnify Jobs Botswana from all losses arising from misuse of applicant data.

7. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Botswana.

Jobs Botswana has undergone a complete system cleanup. As a result, all users are required to recreate their candidate or employer accounts to continue using our services.
