Key Responsibilities

• Support irrigation system setup and maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of farming areas.
• Operate basic farm tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Harvest crops, sort, and prepare produce for storage or market.
• Monitor crops for pests, diseases, and report issues to supervisors.
• Assist in planting, transplanting, and cultivating horticultural crops.
• Perform routine farm tasks such as watering, weeding, pruning, and fertilizing.
• Execute any other morally reasonable assignments to meet the exigencies of service.

Requirements

• Minimum of PSLE.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a horticultural set-up.
• Basic knowledge of horticultural practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn new farming techniques.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Prior experience in farming or gardening is an advantage.
