Republic Of Botswana Ministry of Lands and Agriculture Department of Animal Production TEMPORARY LAUNDRYMAN (2 Posts) – Tenable in Lobu Field Station Role Purpose: Do laundry and keep hostel surroundings clean.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep hostel surroundings clean at all times
- Clean showers, hostels and toilets
- Sort articles to be cleaned by fabric type, colour and cleaning techniques
- Wash and press cloth garments, blankets linens, rugs and carpets
- Clean and maintain laundry and dry-cleaning machines
- Clean windows
- Report faults and missing items to supervisor
- Make request for required cleaning materials to supervisor
- Inspect articles for stains and fabrics that require special care
- Undertake any other duties as required to meet the exigencies if service.
Requirements
- AGE: 18 to 45 Years
- SALARY: A2 (P36, 444.00 – P42, 024.00 per annum)
- LEAVE: 20 Working days per annum
- QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Primary School Leaving Examination Certificate (Diploma holders and above are not allowed to apply)
- DURATION: 12 months
- Applicant must be able to read and write in both Setswana & English.
- Applicant must have no criminal Record.
- No accommodation will be provided; successful applicants must seek their own accommodation at Khuis and Middlepits where they can be easily collected for duty.
- Current serving temporary employees are not eligible to apply.

Salary
A2 (P36, 444.00 – P42, 024.00 per annum)
