We are looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to oversee financial reporting, statutory compliance, and supervise the finance staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full accounting cycle including month-end processes.
- Prepare statutory returns and tax submissions (VAT, PAYE, etc.).
- Review trial balances and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Supervise the Cashier and Accounts Assistant.
- Prepare financial reports and provide insights to management.
- Liaise with company secretary, auditors and other external stakeholders on financial and compliance matters.
Requirements
- AAT qualification or equivalent accounting certification.
- Minimum 2+ years accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills.
