Key Responsibilities

• Manage, support, and supervise all fixed-wing pilots, ensuring high standards of performance and professionalism
• Oversee pilot licensing, medicals, and ratings compliance
• Ensure adequate crew availability and scheduling in line with operational requirements and duty time limitations
• Develop and implement the Training and Checking Programme in compliance with national regulations and company goals
• Oversee the compilation and maintenance of Operations Manuals
• Plan, organize, and supervise training and checking activities in accordance with operations manuals
• Assess and analyse training feedback, implementing corrective actions where necessary

Requirements

• Valid ICAO Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with Multi-Engine and Instrument Rating
• Minimum 3,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC)
• Minimum 2,000 hours on turboprop aircraft
• Minimum 400 hours on pressurized high-performance aircraft
• Minimum 500 hours night and instrument time
• Minimum 1,500 hours instruction given
• Experience in VIP charter, medical evacuation, and bush flying operations
• Experience in managing or supervising flight operations. Strong leadership, mentoring, and decision-making skills
• Botswana citizenship or residency
• CAAB Designated Examiner Certification
