We are seeking a high-caliber Executive: Manufacturing & Procurement to join our Executive team – a strategic leader who thrives on delivering performance, driving efficiencies, and ensuring operational excellence in a fast-moving FMCG environment.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take full ownership of Manufacturing, Procurement, and Supply Chain operations – ensuring seamless execution, cost optimisation, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute an integrated operations strategy aligned to business growth
- Lead transformation, continuous improvement, and capacity expansion initiatives
- Oversee Milling, Packaging, and Maintenance operations
- Drive world-class standards in quality, safety, and plant performance
- Embed efficiency, reliability, and operational discipline
- Lead strategic sourcing of key commodities and supplier partnerships
- Ensure supply continuity through effective planning and inventory optimisation
- Strengthen resilience across the end-to-end supply chain
- Lead and coordinate all technical and capital projects across the business
- Drive implementation of new technologies, process improvements, and plant upgrades
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic objectives
- Own operational budgets and cost optimisation strategies
- Enhance margins through efficiency and smart procurement
- Lead enterprise risk management and business continuity planning
- Build and inspire high-performing, accountable teams
- Foster a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement
- Report at Executive and Board level, ensuring strong governance
Requirements
- A seasoned executive with 15+ years’ leadership experience in FMCG or manufacturing.
- Deep expertise in procurement, supply chain, and operations management.
- A proven track record of driving operational excellence and transformation.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence strategic outcomes.
- A leader who combines analytical thinking with decisive execution.
- Relevant degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or similar (postgraduate qualification advantageous).
