Reporting to the Maintenance coordinator, the Condition Monitoring Technician supports underground maintenance by collecting and analysing equipment condition data. The role focuses on vibration monitoring, oil analysis, thermographic inspections, and assisting with root cause failure analysis to improve equipment reliability and minimise downtime.

Requirements
- Diploma or NCC in Mechanical, Electrical, or Boiler Making
- Minimum 5-8 years postqualification experience in underground mining operations
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar condition monitoring or reliability role
- Proficient in Hydraulics and Pneumatics, including fault-finding and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of vibration analysis and reliability analysis concepts
- Advanced computer skills
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
