Emeritus International Reinsurance (Botswana) is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Credit Controller to join our Underwriting team. The Credit Controller is a key member of the Finance Department and will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the company’s receivables and payables within a reinsurance environment.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in a finance role, preferably within insurance or reinsurance, with experience as a Credit Controller.
- Knowledge of the insurance and/or reinsurance industry.
- Part qualified with the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA) or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is an added advantage.
- Must be a member of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA).
- Proficiency in financial software applications, accounting systems (e.g., SunSystem, SICSNT), databases, spreadsheets and word processing tools.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Sound negotiation, conflict resolution and stakeholder management capabilities.
