Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
- Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis with actionable insights
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury activities
- Oversee financial controls, policies, and risk management frameworks
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and business case analysis
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members
- Liaise with senior management, external auditors, banks, and regulators
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, BICA) – mandatory
- 5+ years’ post qualification experience in finance or accounting roles, with 3 years leadership experience
