Key Responsibilities

  • All duties related to the medical department of a busy District Hospital:
  • The Officer should be able to work independently in the wards and in the outpatient department
  • Night and weekend calls
  • Supervision and guidance of Junior Officers
  • Management tasks
  • Deputizing the Chief Medical Officer

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBCHB)
  • At least 5 years post qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years as Senior Medical Officer in a Hospital set-up
  • Experience in obstetrics and ability to perform caesarean sections on His/her own
  • Experience with ARV treatment and in Hospital management is of advantage

Salary

D2 (337, 008 – 371, 628) per annum
