Key Responsibilities
- All duties related to the medical department of a busy District Hospital:
- The Officer should be able to work independently in the wards and in the outpatient department
- Night and weekend calls
- Supervision and guidance of Junior Officers
- Management tasks
- Deputizing the Chief Medical Officer
Requirements
- Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBCHB)
- At least 5 years post qualification
- Minimum of 2 years as Senior Medical Officer in a Hospital set-up
- Experience in obstetrics and ability to perform caesarean sections on His/her own
- Experience with ARV treatment and in Hospital management is of advantage
Salary
D2 (337, 008 – 371, 628) per annum
