Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate medical students and postgraduate students;
- Conduct research and/or creative professional works in his/her area of expertise and supervise undergraduate students and postgraduate students’ research projects;
- Provide service to the university, profession and community;
- Provide clinical care in affiliated hospitals and (v) Carry out any other duties as assigned by the chairperson of department.
Requirements
- applicants should have: (i) Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery or other recognized medical qualification (MD);
- (ii) A specialist qualification in Paediatrics and Adolescent Health (a paediatric sub-specialty qualification is an advantage);
- (iii) The qualification must be registerable by the Botswana Health Professions Council with a specialist/sub-specialist status.
- UNIVERSITY TEACHING EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: 6 years
