Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in screening and reviewing applications for registration, variations, exemptions, and retentions of medical devices and IVDs under supervision.
  • Support post-market surveillance and vigilance activities for medical devices and IVDs.
  • Participate in inspections and licensing activities of premises dealing with medical devices under the guidance of senior officers.
  • Assist in maintaining medical device registers, databases, and regulatory records.
  • Support the preparation and communication of regulatory decisions and applicant correspondence.
  • Assist in responding to customer inquiries using approved channels and formats.
  • Participate in the assessment of medical device manufacturers for compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support investigations relating to non-compliance and illegal activities involving medical devices in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the review and update of regulatory procedures, guidelines, and templates.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders on matters relating to medical device regulation.
  • Participate in training and professional development activities as part of the graduate programme.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering or relevant field.
  • Recent graduates with no prior work experience may apply.
  • Added advantage: Prior regulatory or medical devices industry experience.
