Key Responsibilities
- The Production Officer will be responsible for managing the Production Plant; leading a team of production workers to ensure efficient and timely processing of fruits and vegetables strictly in accordance with laid down procedures and quality standards to achieve production targets and product specifications as well as to minimise waste.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Degree in Food Science or a closely related discipline.
- Experience: At least four (4) years’ relevant relevant post qualification experience two (2) of which should be at supervisory level responsible for major food processing functions and wide experience in production management systems, policies, practices and procedures.
- Competencies: Strong Communication and interpersonal relations, Assertive and Decisive, Proactive, Innovative and Initiative, Analytical Thinking, Knowledge of Health and Safety Practices, and Good Coordinating Skills.
