A WORKS CONTRACT FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF KGOTLA SHELTER IN LESENEPOLE VILLAGE. The estimated cost of the project is BWP 725, 600.00 (inclusive of VAT @ 14%). This tender is reserved for Citizen Contractors based in Lesenepole Village in line with Section 76 (2) (d) of the Public Procurement Act. Requirements
- Tenderers must, in order to be considered for the award of the contract, be registered with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) in the following categories: Code: 01 – Building Construction Works and Maintenance Sub code(s): 01 – Building Construction, Grade: OC.
- This tender is reserved for Citizen Contractors based in Lesenepole Village in line with Section 76 (2) (d) of the Public Procurement Act.
- Preference Margins will be applied to qualifying bidders in line with the following schemes; Local Procurement Scheme of Presidential Directive CAB 19 (B) 2013 and Economic Diversification Drive (EDD) of Presidential Directive CAB 34 (B) 2014.
- Tenders must submit Proof of residence solely signed by the Kgosi, VDC chairperson and ward Councillor from Lesenepole village (attached on the tender document).
- Preference will further be given to bidders who has not benefited from CCP programme in the past two years.
- Tenderers to purchase all their products from 100% Citizen locally based manufacturers and service providers, provided that the goods and services are locally available, competitively priced and meet tender specifications in terms of quality standard as certified or recognized by Botswana Bureau of Standards (BOBS) or other recognized certifying bodies.
- A non-refundable deposit of BWP 150.00 payable by cash in favour of Palapye District Council, at RAC, Revenue Office NO. 15, Palapye.
- An original proof of payment must be presented upon the collection of the tender documents.
- Youth companies will purchase the tender document at half price (50%) upon producing a valid copy of the Omang and shareholder certificate as proof of company ownership, in accordance with Presidential Directive CAB 14 (B)/2015.
