The School of Business and Leisure (SBL) seeks to recruit suitably qualified part-time Lecturers to teach across its programmes. The Institution is recruiting staff with specialisation in one or more of the following areas:

– Corporate Finance, Financial Management and Managerial Finance

Requirements

  • A Master’s Degree in any of the advertised specialisation areas, or in a closely related field acceptable to the institution.
  • A teaching qualification, such as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), or evidence of formal training in higher education teaching and assessment will be an added advantage.
  • Membership of a relevant and recognised professional body will be an added advantage.
  • BQA accreditation, or eligibility for accreditation with BQA or another recognised qualifications authority.
  • Relevant industry certification in the area of specialisation will be an added advantage.
  • At least four (4) years of post-qualification experience in the relevant discipline, preferably including tertiary teaching, curriculum development, assessment, research or industry practice.
  • Demonstrable ability to teach and supervise student projects in subjects aligned to the candidate’s area of specialisation.
