Key Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining valuation models for equity and fixed income instruments.
  • Monitoring macroeconomic developments and implications for portfolio positioning.
  • Participate in investment meetings and support trading and execution.
  • Conducting company, industry and economic research.
  • Monitoring portfolios and market developments.
  • Preparing investment reports, presentations and client materials.
  • Maintaining investment databases and support special projects as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Investment Management, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce or a related field.
  • Strong academic record, with a CGPA of at least 70%.
  • Advanced progress or completion of the CFA credential will be an advantage.
  • Advanced data analytics skills in R, Python or similar programming language will be an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Strong passion for financial markets and investing.
  • Ability to construct clear views and defend them calmly under scrutiny.
  • No work experience is required.
