Reporting to the Senior Security Officer, the position will be responsible for safeguarding ODC’s diamonds, assets, personnel, visitors and customers through implementing security searches and access control in a critical infrastructure environment as per compliance to the Buildings Control Act and adherence to the Precious and Semi-Precious Stones Act.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance to the Security Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs).
  • Signing off all products and assets that come in and out of the ODC premises.
  • Assisting in securing the safe movement of goods during import and export.
  • Matching the dispatch authorisation and the pre-alert forms from the shipping agents before export.
  • Reporting any security breaches and potential security problems to the Senior Security Officer.
