- Provide engineering support and technical leadership to operation and maintenance teams
- Develop and implement engineering standards, procedures and best practices
- Oversee engineering modifications, upgrades and improvement projects
- Develop and implement preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance strategies
- Support operational planning through engineering input and technical advice
- Monitor equipment reliability and performance
- Monitor maintenance KPI’s and drive contionus improvement initiatives

Requirements
- Diploma/bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering / Electromechanical Engineering
- Government certificate of competence as an Engineer
- Registration with the Engineers registration Board (ERB) Botswana
- Minimum 8-10 years as an appointed Engineer in a mining environment
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in a sinking environment
- Driver’s License, First Aid & CPR certificate
