Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and direction on the site operations.
- Ensure operational targets, project milestones and contractual deliverables are achieved.
- Drive operational excellence through effective planning, execution and monitoring.
- Identify operational, safety, commercial and reputational risks.
- Ensure Site compliance with contractual obligations and commercial requirements.

Requirements
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in Shaft sinking mining environment
- Minimum 7-10 years’ experience as a Shift foreman/Shift boss
- Mine Overseer’s certificate of competency
- Blasting certificate and Shift supervisor/foreman certificate
- Postgraduate qualification – advantageous
- Driver’s License, First Aid & CPR certificate
- Extensive experience in vertical sinking construction
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects and working in African mining environments
