Council is overwhelmed with high water usage and wastage which ultimately lead to high water bills on its facilities and therefore there is urgent need for engagement of service providers who can assist with infrastructure that can help with water conservation and water bill reduction. Due to current financial constraints, council is not able to do the necessary required maintenance works that will facilitate reduction in water usage and water bills hence the need to partner with service providers. On the basis of the assessment of the received expressions, short listed companies or joint ventures may then be invited to either to tender or selected for the required service in terms of the Public Procurement Act, 2021.
