We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and experienced Cook to prepare quality meals for guests and events. The successful candidate must also be willing to assist with housekeeping duties when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals, snacks and refreshments.
  • Assist with catering for guests and events.
  • Prepare ingredients and follow menus/recipes.
  • Maintain food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Monitor food supplies and minimise wastage.
  • Assist with housekeeping, laundry, cleaning and changing linen when required.
  • Assist with event setup and cleaning after events.
  • Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Cook/Kitchen Assistant is an advantage.
  • Experience in hospitality, catering, self-catering, lodge, hotel or events is an advantage.
  • Relevant certificate in Cooking, Catering, Hospitality, Housekeeping or a related field is required.
  • Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking and kitchen operations.
