Key Responsibilities
- He/She will be responsible for HANDS ON training and assessment of Apprentices.
Requirements
- Applicants must have at least minimum of 12 years HANDS ON experience in Winding and or Assembling Distribution Transformers.
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Workshop Supervisor would be an added advantage.
- Applicants must have knowledge in Dismantling and Re-assembling of transformers from 1kVA up to 5000kVA, transformer core building.
- Applicants must have extensive knowledge and experience in workshop transformer de-tanking, tanking and testing, servicing and repair of Oil Circuit Breakers (OCBs) and oil switches and maintenance and repair of switchgear, substations and mini-substations.
- He/She must be able to collect technical data of transformers.
- Applicants must have knowledge in carrying out site preventative maintenance on installed transformers to stop leaks, top up oil and replace components.
- Winding of transformers up to 5000kVA will be an added advantage.
- All applicants must be computer literate and possess a clean driver’s license.
- They must be eager to work in a growing and demanding environment and keen on meeting deadlines.
