Key Responsibilities
- HV/LV (11kV/400V) Electrical distribution systems, General Purpose power, Interior lighting Design and Calculations Electronic systems, renewables, building management systems, earthing & lightning protection, Generator and UPS systems
- Preparing design computations, quantity estimates & develops probable construction cost estimates for smaller, less complex projects
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software (including Dialux & PV SOL) and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents
- Modify reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies and designs for projects
- Make calculations, using engineering formulas and skills for design such as load assessments
Requirements
- Citizen of Botswana
- Engineering work experience required (Entry level)
- A BEng in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimal experience of computer operation for engineering design programs and computer aided drafting
- General knowledge of system design and applicable Building Services codes and standards
- Has a demonstrated ability to problem solve, communicate effectively to all key personnel and time management
