To provide plumbing services to Council facilities and ensure the maintenance of water and sewerage systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lays sewerage pipes.
- Installs and maintains repairs, baths, toilet units, kitchen sinks and water boilers.
- Takes care of all materials and tools on site.
- Fixes solder gutters, water tanks and repair chimney flues.
- Attends to all drain blockages.
- Does routine maintenance of the water supply system.
- Supervises subordinates.
- Constructs all soak away for the septic tanks.
- Threads galvanized pipes as required.
- Reports all defects to Technical Assistant.
- Advises tenants on safety measures.
- Undertakes any other duties as required to meet the exigencies of the service.

Salary
B3 (P65, 508 – P76, 908) per annum
