Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and hands-on Bar Manager to lead and oversee all bar operations during events and daily service. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional customer experience, efficient stock control, staff supervision, and compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bar operations during events and regular service
- Optimise the bar sales during events.
- Plan, organize, and execute bar service for indoor and outdoor events
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bar staff
- Ensure high standards of customer service and product quality
- Control stock levels, ordering, storage, and inventory counts
- Manage cash handling, POS systems, and daily reconciliations
- Develop drink menus, pricing, and promotions aligned with events
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, health, and safety regulations
- Coordinate with Events, Kitchen, Security, and Operations teams
- Handle customer feedback, queries, and complaints professionally
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager or Senior Bartender (events or hospitality)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of cocktails, beverages, and bar trends
- Experience with stock control and cost management
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
