Location: Selebi Phikwe | Company: Volcanic Enterprises Pty Ltd

Role Purpose:

Are you a master of the machine? We are looking for a hands-on technical expert to lead our Fence Manufacturing plant. We don’t just need a supervisor; we need someone who knows the machines inside out.

Key Duties/Responsibilities (Can you do the following?):

• Run the Line: Operate machinery and meet BOBS standards regarding wire thickness and quality. Know all the wire grades used in make all sort of fences.
• Fix the Tools: Grind, shape, and sharpen cutters, design dyes necessary for the fencing machines and maintain in-house consumables, which are essential wearable consumables and fix the break downs in house. All consumables required, the technical person should be able to know the grade of steel or its equivalent to be used.
• Keep it Running: Adjust tensions, fix breakdowns immediately, and ensure zero unnecessary downtime.
• Teach Others: Train our local team and transfer your skills.
• Machine Setting: The machine settings must not be altered to its micro mm so that the fence results can be achieved.

Requirements:

• Must be willing to relocate to Selebi Phikwe.
• Must have specialized experience in wire nail/bolt machinery.
• Must be able to show us the fixing of the machine as test, when he applies for job as a trial on the machine. ( This is compulsory and physical presence will be required in Phikwe)
