Are you a strategic HC professional who thrives at the intersection of people and business performance? Sky Bridge Capital is looking for a Human Capital Business Partner to join our team.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring that the human capital strategy is closely aligned with and actively supports the organisation’s business objectives. You will play a central role in shaping organisational culture, enhancing employee engagement, and leading the organisation through an evolving talent landscape within Botswana.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Advisory: Act as a consultant to line managers on organisational design, workforce planning, and change management.
- Employee Relations: Manage complex employee relations matters, ensuring full compliance with the Botswana Employment Act and related labour legislation.
- Performance Management: Lead the implementation of performance frameworks that drive a high-performance culture.
- Talent & Succession: Identify high-potential employees and develop robust succession plans to ensure business continuity.
- Learning & Development: Partner with stakeholders to identify skills gaps and coordinate impactful training initiatives (including HRDC claim processes).
- Data-Driven Insights: Use HC analytics to provide monthly reports on turnover, absenteeism, and engagement trends to inform executive decision-making.
- Union Relations: Experience in managing Union and Management relations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related Business degree. A professional certification is a distinct advantage.
- Experience: At least 5–8 years of experience in HC, with at least 3 years in a Business Partnering or Generalist role.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Botswana labour market, Industrial Court processes, and the Employment Act.
