Job Title: MAINTENANCE OFFICER (2)

Role Purpose:

Love Botswana is a 39-year-old faith-based organisation in Maun with the vision “Loving People | Changing Lives | Shaping futures” and values of Faith, Integrity, Relationships, and Excellence (FIRE). We are seeking two Maintenance Officers to ensure the safety, functionality, and upkeep of all Love Botswana and Maun Life Centre properties, supporting our mission to provide high-quality, community-based facilities that generate sustainable income for outreach programs.

Main Key Areas Include (but are not limited to):

• General facility maintenance | Events support and Operational readiness
• Property and Asset Management | Preventive Maintenance and Reporting
• Ensuring safety, compliance and stewardship

Requirements & Skills

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 3-5 years’ experience in maintenance/facility management, preferably within an events, hospitality, or property environment.

Skills:

• Strong technical and practical skills
• Basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs
• Equipment operation and troubleshooting
• Record keeping and reporting (Word/Excel)
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards
• Driver’s license (advantageous)
