To coordinate all print advertising materials for daily advertising and promotional lines for the Botswana Division and to manage all associated media deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage daily print advertising material
- Coordinate and manage promotional advertising
- Monitor advertising product descriptions and pricing on the advertising system
- Align all marketing/communication (advertising) with the main marketing strategy in terms of the look, feel, price and product offering.
- Effectively brief and interact with advertising agencies on daily print activities
- Thoroughly check and approve the daily/weekly and monthly print adverts
- Ensure daily print materials are distributed and displayed as required
- Laise and interact with buyers on a regular basis to secure promotional lines
- Communicate in advance with advance with stores regarding upcoming promotions
- Brief and interact with advertising agencies regarding promotional print advertising
- Conduct a detailed and through check of the promotional print advertising
- Liaise and interact with buying department to ensure that product description and pricing is correct.
- Ensure new product details (description and pricing) are updated continuously as required.
- Update existing product details on the advertising system
- Align all communications and endeavours with the annual Brand Strategy
- Ensure that all media selections are efficient and comply with strategy
- Assist with and participate in the coordination of promotional activities
- Manage the day-to-day marketing /advertisement activities efficiently.

- The candidate should have more than 1 year work experience in a similar role with exposure to printing and advertising media, and related coordination activities
- Practical knowledge of marketing and advertising
- Practical experience in retail marketing, shopping centre promotions or general marketing within the retail or FMCG sector
- Practical experience in printing and advertising
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 with immediate level of Excel and PPT skills is essential
- Degree in Marketing or similar qualifications is essential
- It is essential that the candidate possesses a driver’s license and be able to drive.
