Key Responsibilities

• Overall management of site operations.
• Supervision of engineers, foremen, contractors and general labour.
• Liaison with client representatives, consultants and authorities.
• Managing site resources, overseeing quality control and inspections.
• Planning and scheduling and able to interpret drawings.

Requirements

• Higher National Diploma in Construction Management / Civil Engineering.
• Registered with ERB as a professional.
• At least 8 years’ construction experience of which 3 years as a Site Agent.
• Proven experience in managing projects from start to completion in civil engineering works (roads, bridges, drainage, and utilities).
• Experience of major contract forms (FIDIC, NEC).
• Proficient in MS Projects.
• Basic knowledge of Primavera P6 / MS Project will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, planning and schedules.
• Cost awareness and budget control.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications, claims variations and change management.
• Strong people management skills.
