Liquorama is seeking a highly experienced and disciplined Liquor Branch Manager to take full operational, financial, and people-management responsibility for one of our retail outlets. This role is suited to a hands-on retail leader with proven liquor trade experience and strong operational control.
Key Responsibilities
- Full end-to-end store management (sales, stock, staff, cash, and compliance)
- Drive sales growth while maintaining and protecting gross profit margins
- Manage, lead, and discipline store staff in line with company policies
- Ensure strict stock control, receiving, shrinkage prevention, and reconciliations
- Maintain Liquorama brand standards, merchandising, hygiene, and store image
- Compile and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
- Ensure full compliance with liquor licensing laws, company SOPs, and audits
- Control costs and minimize losses through operational discipline
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Liquor Branch Manager
- Minimum Form 5 qualification
- Relevant tertiary qualification or degree related to retail, business management, or the liquor trade
- Proven experience in liquor retail operations, stock control, and GP management
- Strong people management and leadership capability
- Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Strong administrative, reporting, and computer skills
- Strong operational discipline and accountability
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Ethical conduct and attention to detail
