Volunteer Positions

Volunteer posts:
1. Guest Relations: Act as liaison between guests, sending invitations and follow ups with invitees.
2. Events and Production: Help with set up, maintenance and tear down of banners, posters, and other materials.
3. Media and Documentation: Document festival process, edit pictures and videos, conduct interviews with guests.
4. Tech: Responsible for sound check with microphones and lighting.
5. Ticketing: Collect tickets at the door and take attendance registers for every day.
6. Transportation: Transport production materials to and from venue daily.

Requirements:
– Volunteers are to commit at least 15 hours per week for a period of 8 weeks.
– Must be at least 18 years old.
– Must be available until the end of the film festival.
– Must be articulate in both English and Setswana, be able to analyse situations and identify advocacy issues.
– Must be a team player, confident, be able to solve problems and work under pressure.
– Volunteerism is open to everyone and is not limited to persons identifying as LGBTIQ.
